Geeves Records is proud to announce its very first signing, the Decatur, Georgia based rock band - Duke Fame. The staff at Geeves has done an exhaustive citywide search for the best rock band in Decatur and they have finally succeeded in finding just the right one.
Geeves Records was established in 2002 and is proud of its partnership with Geeves Rehearsal Studios, which is based in Decatur, Georgia as well. Geeves Records is likewise proud of its affiliation with Geeves Recording Studios, which, coincidentally, is based in Decatur, Georgia too. Duke Fame's first CD, "Regrets", was recorded at Sound & Fury Studios located in Pine Lake Georgia, which is close to, but not actually in, Decatur, Georgia, by the almost-legendary Dede Vogt. Though that CD was recorded there, all future recordings by Duke Fame will be recorded at Geeves Recording Studios.
Geeves Recording Studios is a state of the art digital 16-track studio located adjacent to Geeves Rehearsal Studios, both located in beautiful Decatur, Georgia. The studio has microphones, cables and tape machines, just like any other studio. Conveniently, there is a bathroom nearby for your viewing and dining pleasure. On the downside, the refrigerator is located on the second floor in the Geeves Records office complex, which can make beer runs somewhat inconvenient. Hopefully, this oversight will be corrected soon.
