Eh? Four halfway decent musicians have dedicated themselves to playing music they like, with people they like. "I'm Tired of Playing with Assholes" has pretty much become the motto of the band. Picture these four guys with a common goal of drinking a lot of beer and an intense desire make some noise, and you have Duke Fame. "What kind of music do these guys play?" Original music, with a few selected covers that you may have never heard, unless you have exceptionally good taste. Other than that it depends on the song. Punk. Rock. Pop. Ballad. Is it like a 60's band? 80's? 90's? Probably. There are two things you won't find at a Duke Fame show -- loooooong songs and pedals. It takes longer to say "2nd Chance to Get it Right the 1st Time" than it does to play it. If you drive an automatic transmission, your car has more pedals than our guitar players. So, what you hear is what we play - kick butt rock. And if you don't like it, don't worry, it will be over soon. Two things you will find at a Duke Fame show are at least four guys having a blast. And beer.
